About this event
The technology of flood mitigation is rapidly evolving as natural disaster concerns are growing in significance and the design community continues to push the limits of what is possible. This course will cover the evolution of floodproofing systems, leading to a new generation of flood mitigation solutions—floodproof windows. These systems offer the ability to passively withstand impact, as well as push the limits of size in a design.
Upon completion of this course, the participants will have a thorough understanding of the new applications and specifications for oversized, impact, flood windows and flood walls systems that can be applied today in the rapidly evolving flood mitigation industry. Earn 1 CEC.
