Course Description
This course is designed to provide participants with the best techniques for using a logical, practical, and effective approach to mantracking. Tracking is a valuable method for enhancing the operation and management of search and rescue incidents.
Participants will learn how to identify tracks and signs, apply tracking techniques, and improve their ability to quickly and efficiently locate missing persons or objects. The course breaks down the fundamentals of tracking into clear concepts that can be applied by search and rescue personnel as well as law enforcement responders.

Rescue personnel
Fire service personnel
Emergency medical responders
Law enforcement personnel
Any organization responsible for searching for missing or lost persons
Registration Information
Advance registration is required and must be received by September 11, 2026
Minimum class size: 10 students
Maximum enrollment: 20 students
Meals, lodging, and travel expenses are the responsibility of the student unless otherwise noted.
