About this event

Kentucky Senate Bill 49 creates a voluntary statewide battery stewardship program to improve the collection, recycling, and safe disposal of certain batteries. Working together with manufacturers, retailers, recyclers, local governments, and other interested groups, we can develop a program that makes battery recycling more accessible and effective. Educating the public about proper battery disposal and recycling will help increase participation and support the success of the program across Kentucky.
